Whole House Water Filtration in Frenchs Forest: Every Tap, Not Just the Kitchen

The situation

A Frenchs Forest customer wanted more than the usual single filtered tap in the kitchen. They wanted the whole house, every shower, every tap, the hot water as well, running through filtered water, not just the one spot most homes settle for.

What we did

A filter jug or a single under-sink filter only ever treats the water passing through that one point. To cover the whole house, we cut directly into the water line coming into the property, before it splits off to the rest of the home, and installed the filtration system right there.

With the system plumbed in at that point, every outlet downstream of it, kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, showers and hot water, now draws from the same filtered supply. We ran copper pipework and isolation valves around the install so it’s straightforward to service going forward, then enclosed it in a stainless housing for a clean, finished look.

The outcome

The whole property, not just one tap, now runs filtered water. We’ll service the system with a yearly filter change to keep it performing.
